Hey Everyone New here but in the middle of planning already. Meeting with some florist this week and photograhpers...any reccomendations..

met with Bella Flowers, flowers by brian both seemed to have good pricing i think..didn't see to many reviews on either

photo looking at duet, lighthouse and maybe one other, open to more reccomendations, pricing seemed a bit high with both

I only know about the vendors I chose, but I really think they will do an amazing job,

Flower Barn in Seaford - I can't wait to see what they're going to do!

Joe Sanflippo Photography - so far, I love everything I see of his work.

What's our budget like? I wouldn't say either of them are cheap, but they weren't ridiculously high priced either.

OMG, I love Duet. They did my cousin-in-law's wedding and a college friends.

Try Ken Hild. His style is similar to Lighthouse but he was in my budget.

Did not look at flowers yet.

Definitely recommend Duet or S*ilverF*ox for photos & Hidden Essence for Flowers

Lawrence photography seemed reasonable but I'm probably gonna go with Howard beach studios. The photographer seems very attentive and thorough and very nice!! And i think I'm gonna get more bang for my buck

For flowers check out crest florist in Little Neck, and for photo Fade to Black both are very talented and reasonable.

Bella Flowers did a wonderful job on my wedding last month. the flowers were exactly what i wanted and beautiful. she also helped me out when i got into a problem with my ceremony decorations.

As for photography, i used Matthew Sowa- i LOVE his work (e-pic in my albums) but i really wanted unique pics- very non-traditional

I'm using North Island Photography and Verbena Designs. I definitely recommend checking out both. For flowers.. Jen from Verbena saw exactly what I was thinking (and a picture I drew, but didn't show her) and actually made it a reality. She's worth looking into if she's available on your day (she does 1 event/day)

i had the best experience working with joseph from flowers by brian. aside from the fact that on the day-of, the flowers and the set-up far exceeded my expectations, it was the times leading up to our wedding day that made the whole experience so enjoyable. not sure what it would have been like working with anyone other than joseph, but i truly feel we lucked out by having him because he was just so personable. admittedly, i'm not really a flower person, so i pretty much just looked to him to figure out what flowers to use and let him run with it! :)
