Re: flowers pricing.....
I think that's high. I had 20 tables (36 roses on pedastal), and a lot of extras like home decorated, flowers for the cake, flowers on the pews, flowers for aunts and uncles (8 each), etc. I paid $3,400. - - and the price included any flower I wanted whether in or out of season.

That is WAY too high--what kind of flowers are these??? You should be able to get nice flowers between $2500-$3500. Good luck!

Re: flowers pricing.....
that price was including my 11 bridesmaids bouquets, guys flowers--three flower girls--church flowers, including 6 huge vases of just Calla Lillies--my bouquet which is all calla lillies, plus reception flowers which are long pedestals as well, w/ candles along the stem. hes also wrapping my napkins w/ ivory to match the pedestal bottoms. Do you still think for all that it is alot???

I think it is quite a bit. I understand you have a lot of tables, but for that many BM & GM & moms & such , you should get a better deal than that.
I am also doing calla lillies as well as orchids & I am paying way way less than that... I also have a large BP. Can you FM me with the info of who you got that quote from?

Re: flowers pricing.....
I have been quoted up to $15000 for 20 tables. We are hoping to spend under $10,000. So I don't think that your quote is extreme. It all depends on who you go to. If you are using someone who is well known, it will obviously be higher. But for many people, that is worth the extra dough.

Re: flowers pricing.....
I think it all depends on what kind of flowers you want. I've heard of people who have spent $20,000 on flowers so to me no quote is too high because I don't know what you're looking for. You should shop around and see what different places give you for the same thing. That's really the only way that you'll be able to make an informed decision.

Re: flowers pricing.....
I paid $3500 for only 12 tables, but that included a beautiful arch and lots of ceremony decorations, petals and bouquets for myself and 5 attendants, two large entrance arrangements, 16 cocktail arrangements, and a bunch more stuff....and my flowers were gorgeous....
You could def. get something cheaper, but it depends on what you want and what other stuff you get, and what kind of flowers you want. I paid more with who I used than some of the other quotes I got, but the creativity and beauty of the flowers I got was impressive.
