Flowers Question...

Flowers Question...

My wedding is October, but I really don't want to use fall colors. My bridesmaids are in a deep red. So I wanted them to carry red and white/ivory bouquets. Is that too Christmasy?

I think as long as you don't have holly leaves and berries, you should be okay.

I thought so...I'm not exactly a style guru, but it never hurts to ask. Thanks.

Re: Flowers Question...

I was thinking of doing red and white roses for my centerpieces, as I am carrying a black majic bouquet and my girls are carrying cream roses and wearing cranberry (dark red) dresses. When I saw the red and white roses together, it did look very Christmas-y to me. I think maybe using a cream rose may work better, there is a stark contrast between the red and the white. Its just my opinion, but you should go to your florist and have her show you what they look like together. I ended up going with cream and anna roses. Good luck!

thanks. My florist suggested black magic roses too. But, I thought they were too dark. I am meeting with her again on the 11th... I will use your suggestion and have her give me an example.

Not at all. My wedding is labor day weekend (sept) and my colors are ivory (me), MOH rose pink, BM wine. the flowers will be a mixture of pinks, deep reds, ivory.

I think those colors sound great. You should pick whatever makes you happy...
