flowers-what to ask?

Going to a florist tonight? What questions would u suggest we ask? Also what are good fall flowers?

As far as good 'fall' flowers - I would google that but I know roses are good all year.

1. Delivery charges?
2. Payment schedule?
3. When do you see your sample? Will you do sample prior to me booking?
4. You may want to ask how many flowers they're going to include in each arrangement. Some places will charge you an arm and a leg for, say, callas, put a ton in your sample, and skimp on the real thing.
5. I thought it was most important to ask if the florist himself/herself would be at the wedding.
6. Ask if they have any in-house centerpiece holders/stands/vases, because if they have to rent them, it's an additional expense. Ask to see them.
7. Bouquet size... my florist asked for the height of everyone getting a bouquet. This way they can adjust the size accordingly.
8. Pay in cash - no sales tax?
9. How many weddings they do in a day?
10. How far in advance do they prepare your cps and bo-k's (that morning, the night before)
11. How do they keep their flowers/arrangements-are they kept in refrigerators-how long?

you can also ask if they include anything that you're not expecting (Pedestals gave me free bouteniers for the guys, and they'll also provide me with a flowergirl basket)

oh, and if you're not using limos, you can ask how much it costs to rent an aisle runner (if the RH / Church doesn't provide it)

good luck tonight!
