Flowers - where do you recommend?

We are currently looking at florists and I'm just wondering if there is a place you guys recommend. We looked at a florist today and we were quoted just under $3000:

1 bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 8 butineers, 16 centerpieces (the 3 cylinder w/the flowers in the water & the floating candles), and the corsages for the moms & grandmas. The bouquets are calla lilies - which I think are more than roses - is the $3000 high? Or is that about average?

Any help on good florists is appreciated! Thanks!!!

Contact Michells from Hidden Essence. She is great. I went to 6 florists and found that she made me the most comfortable and she really understood what I wanted plus her prices are great!

Check out Towers Flowers of Nesconset, and tell them Jovigirl/Nicole sent you. Ask for Bridgette. I think they may be able to beat that, and I loved my flowers!!!

I think you should give Michelle from Hidden Essence a call. She's a vendor on here and her work is fantastic. That was my budget for pretty close to the same amount and I was well under that amount. Different flowers, different vision, but she will work with you.

That's actually where we looked. I liked them there, but they were the first place we looked at so I wanted to compare.

I had to make the choice between Distinctive Floral & Hidden Essence. I thought either one would have done a fantastic job. They were both giving me the same flowers and same type of arrangements. In the end in was a budget decision, Hidden Essence came in MUCH cheaper.

I think it seems high. I really like my florist she did my cousins' weddings and some of my coworkers events and has always done a great job. I have photos of some of her work. If you are interested FM me because she isnt a vendor on here.

We used B*u*r*t*o*n's (without the stars) and we loved them. The centerpieces and boqs were exactly what I asked for and gorgeous!

Check out your local florist too! I'm doing the same as you except my florist allowed me to but the centerpieces on my own, she will setup & provide me more that you have now for 1/2 price you were quoted!

Definitely check out Hidden Essence. I looked into 4 florists and Michelle was the most reasonable BY FAR. I had another florist quote me over $1000 more for the same exact things.

I have my BOK of sunflowers and roses, 3 BM BOKs of sunflowers, 7 boutineers, 2 flower bracelets (MOB & MOG instead of typical corsages), 14 CPs, and 6 pew bows for less than $2000.

I agree with the other ladies Hidden Essence is the way to go she was 1000.00 cheaper than anywhere else. Also Im getting just about the same thing as you and I was quoted around 1500.00 The quote you got is way high.
