Flu Shot

I've never gotten one before and have been lucky the past few years.

Is it true if you are pregnant during the flu season months you should have one? We are TTC soon so I think maybe I should get one.....opinions??

they say women in their 2nd or 3rd trimesters should get the FS. and children 6 months to 2 years.

I just asked my doctor about this today and she said, if I really don't get the flu then don't bother to get the shot. I am due in November, so I think I am going to hold off on it.
