Flu shot and TTC

I take a flu shot religiously every year. I work with the older population. If I am TTC do I have to wait to make sure I am not pregnant before i take the shot? Or can I just take it?

As far as I know, they give women who are pregnant the flu shot.

BUT...it looks like there's going to be a shortage of the vaccine this year.

I had heard that but I thought in the first trimester they do not want you to take the shot. ???????????????????

Yes definitely get a flu shot if you are TTC.

I think you can get it in your first trimester too but not 2nd or 3rd. Ask your doctor.

Ask your dr. anyway but I am pretty sure it's fine to get when you are TTC
