Flute sheet music

Does anybody have flute sheet music for contemporary songs? I can't get any free ones online and I don't have the time to order them, since my SIL needs to learn the songs.... Any suggestions would be great. TIA

Have you tried sheetmusicdirect.com? They usually go for about $3...very very quick download! It's a great site and I use it all the time!

A flutist just plays the melody... if you have the vocal line or piano melody line of the music, she could jsut play that.

if you don't want to do that, i recommend Sam ASh music stores (there are several locations on LI). one across from the source on Old Country Rd. they can order any sheet music for any instrument.... usually only takes a week or less to get it in. sheet music usually runs anywhere from $4 - 6 a copy.

Me again... i would recommend ordering the sheet music from SAm Ash if the music you may already have is not in the range of a flute. your sister could tell you that!

With sheetmusicdirect.com you just pick your song and it will instantly download the sheet music for you- it's a very quick fix, saves a trip to the store. But it might have a more limited selection that what you would find in sam ash. Although at Sam Ash, you might end up buying a large book with lots of songs you don't want- sheet music direct, you can purchase single songs.
