Sooooo, I don't know if I should get flutes or cake cutters. We were originally thinking of just using what's at the RH, but now I don't know if I should just go and order some (there's great sales at many places).
Any thoughts?

I was the same way as you, i felt like i didnt need them. But then my family offered to get them for us for Christmas so i said okay haha. It cant hurt. If you find something you like and its a good deal, go for it!

I'm just trying to find a way to tell FH that we should get our own lol. He keeps giving me the argument that we'll have cake cutters and cups to use at the RH. Boys don't get it!

I have my own. Both my flutes, cake cutter and server were given to me by my sisters as engagement presents.

Today is the last day 'The Kn0t' has a great sale. I ordered mine on Monday.
It's something cute to keep forever and show your kids one day. Also, many for anniversaries you can use the flutes and knife's all over again!!!!

LOL Looks like we're in the same boat! I'm just going to get them once I find them on a really great sale and not tell FH about it until the week of the wedding :D
