so i always see posts about drama with FMIL just wanted to say i LOVE my FMIL. she called me just to say hi and we ended up talking for 45 min....i feel like shes more of a friend than a MIL i can talk to her about anything and EVERYTHING

WOohoo yours sounds like mine.
My FMIL is a dance teacher ( i am a first grade teacher) one of her kids brought in this CD yesterday of holiday music for 1st graders so she sent it upstairs with one of her older kids to burn it for me. she called me yesterday all excited that she did it!!

I know. I see how some can be. My cousins bf's mother is horrible. She is a teacher and one christmas she got a gift from one of her students and rewrapped it and gave it to my cousin with the card still in it from her student. She didn't even congrat. my cousin when she got her teaching job. I feel so bad for her.

I'm so excited because FMIL planed the entire engagement party!!! I didnt have to lift a finger! She is so great and easy to get along with. I know I am very lucky!!! FH however is not quite as lucky..... lol

thats awesome. I think I would have loved my FMIL b/c I love my FSIL and supposedly she is JUST like her.
(my FMIL died in 2003. I never got to meet her =(...)

ive known my fmil since birth.. she always wanted a daughter so we get a long great..we shop and get for mani & pedis sometimes.. however, i think every mom has that 'but he'll always be my precious baby boy' moment haha

I second that...I think I'm VERY lucky to have an amazing FMIL and in-laws in general. My mom wasn't very lucky in that area and it was very apparant so I always hoped I'd have a good relationship with my IL's

I'm lucky. My FMIL is amazing. I love her and enjoy our time together. FH parents have no daughters so they are looking forward to the wedding.

My FMIL is awesome too! I lost my mom 2 years ago this past March and she truly was my Best Friend! I am sooooo thankful to have Steven's mom...She always calls me and leaves messages on my VM to say she loves me!

Yeah...it is...his whole family is awesome. I don't have any family in NY (my 2 sisters)...so I'm lucky to have them.
His mom is actually buying my wedding dress...she told me she promised my mom! How sweet is she?
