FMIL Advice

So I know that I have not been on the blogs long here however, could really use a piece of advice.

My FH gets a call from his mom and they talk about the invitations..blah blah blah.. he asks her if she got a dress and then proceeds to say that she can call either one of us if she would like to be taken. Now hmmm she totally did not acknowledge the offer on top of which she says that she really does not have the money right now for a dress.... 2 months before my wedding ARE YOU KIDDING ME... so since she has known what I would have liked her to wear since say august of 2004 would you still offer to pay for her dress even though she has not been engaged in any of the planning AT ALL?????

Help.. any feedback would be great.....

I don't really understand what you are asking. Are you saying your offered to pay for her dress, but now you want to take back your offer?

I think what she is saying is even though the FML new about the event for over 1year and did not even look for adress or save$$ for a dress should she offer to help her pay for it
sounds like she is upset and no effort is being made in the FML part. I would say help her pay for the dress or it might become a biger propbelm then you need..also that way you can ahve more of a say of what you want her to wear if you are putting $$ into it
