so who is getting their FMIL something just from them like a FDIL to FMIL thing.
I was contemplating getting her a seperate card from me to her and maybe something small.. . .

we always do a small gift together- this year i got her a little crystal bear that is holding a button and it says 'Mothers are like buttons, they hold everything together' very appropriate for her!
but that is a cute idea! you should definitely do it! I would if i weren't cheap and lazy!

yeah i am gonna get her a separate card just from me...She always does nice things for me and even bought me a gift for easter, i didn't know people did that hahaha. And ill buy her a gift just from me too

I think i'm going to send her flowers, or suggest to FH that we take her out for dinner on Saturday and bring her flowers then.

yea we along with and his brothers and his father already all went in on a digital camera for her (well I didn't really put any money towards it but FH did so I'm on the card anyways)
but I think I might look for a 'girl to girl' gift/card to give her cause I know she would appreciate that.
She doesn't have any daughters, only FH and his two brothers.

i kind of luck out bc she knows FH would never actually go to a store and buy a card or a gift so she knows that even gifts that are from him are really from MY heart
I have even bought items from his brother and father TO her. . .

Since FH and I have been dating, I've always gotten his mom and dad a gift for Mother's Day/Father's Day just from me, and he's done the same with my mom and dad.
Now that we're engaged, we decided we're getting gifts and cards together.

WOW i didnt even think of this!!!!
Thanks for bringing this up. Im going to get her soemthing and a card and Im going to tell FH to do the same for my mom. i think they would really appreciate it. I know my mom would be so happy to get something from FH as a FSIL we susually just do soemthing together.
