FMIL- Can you believe this??

My FMIL just called me. All along everything was great and she only gave me 10 or so people for her invite list. I was very thankful. Here's the dilemma. She just called to say that one of her friends and their guest will not be able to attend, but one of the other guest will be in town staying at their friends house and can we invite them instead? To make sense of this, I mean that his mom wants me to invite the people that her friend is staying with. WHAT THE F&*(K!!! I don't know these people and I'm not even sure his mother does.

I'm gonna call my FH and see what he says, but really, come on, it's not like the wedding is free! Besides the fact that we invited 215+ people to a hall that only fits 200. We are hoping that people say no - not invite more!!!

I thought this wouldn't happen to me!

I have 24 days to go and my MIL is still asking me if there is room for one of her patients!!!! My RSVP date was 2 months ago lady and no, there is NO ROOM! Just tell her you have no room.

Consider yourself lucky! My FMIL's list is over 100 people. lol!
But seriously, let her know that you feel uncomfortable inviting starngers and that you're already concerned that you will have more people than your hall can handle. It's a tricky situation because you don't want to offend anyone, but I don't think the host couple will mind not being invited to the wedding of a stranger. Ot may be more of an incovenience for them than anything else, your FMIl may not have thought of it that way.
