Mine went to the Wedding Center. She is 6 feet and they were one of the few stores that sold MOB dresses with extra length. They had a lot of beautiful dresses for the Moms.

I didn't go with FMIL--NO ONE wanted to go with her...that's how much of a pain it is to shop with her. But she found hers at Estelles (after going 5 times)--they have a great selection.

my mom is actually selling her dress if your mom is interested! she bought it and now its too big to alter. i think its a size 18 jovani. im waiting for her to give me pics.

Which Macys did she go to? We tried the Macys in Walt Whitman as well as Bloomingdales, Sachs Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor and found nothing. But I will definetly give Estelles a shot!!!

You know I'm not 100% sure which one she went to....could have been Roosevelt Field....

Macy's in Herald Square is supposed to be good place for MOB MIL dresses. So is Lord & Taylor. You can try Lynbrook Bridal on Sunrise Highway, Estelle's in Farmingdale.

Lord & Taylor, they have some really great dresses there, I would definitely check it out. We got both of my Mother's dresses there.

FMIL got hers in Nordstrom and MOB got hers at Omnibus in Babylon. They're both in my 'Wedding Accessories' album. HTH!

If you're in Suffolk, try Metamorphosis in St. James - they have a huge collection of Jovani and other designers and they are very nice there. My mom got her dress there. It looks like a tiny little store from the outside but it's actually got a lot of selection!

FMIL got hers at David's She actually got it for a wedding she was a guest at but decided it was too dressy so tried it on a few months ago and it fits her better than it did and looks great!

My Mom got hers at PM Boutique in Oceanside

Patty, this will be no help to you. FH's mom got her dress at Sears No offense to anyone who shops there, because I do as well, but for your son's wedding, Come on!
