FMIL Dress - CRUNCH TIME

I totally dropped the ball in taking my FMIL gown shopping. We're down to 2 months so there's no time to order anything. Other than department stores like Bloomies and Saks, does anyone know of a good place I can take her?

I'm actually taking my mother to shop too. She's a plus size mom so I'm taking her to Macy's, Lane Bryant, Talbots ...

some plus size stores, not sure if your mom is... but they have regular stuff too:

actually my FMIL is a bit of a skinny mini so I'm a little worried about alteration time too. i'm kicking myself for not getting on this earlier arrggh.

Well, I'm a week BEFORE you and my MOM just ordered her dress (Wednesday) from Bridal Suite - she just had to pay $50 for the 'rush' - so you do still have that option if you want!! Good Luck!

Try Macy's and Estelle's in Farmingdale, they usually have a good selection and you can buy right off the rack.

Both my mom and FMIL bought their dresses off the rack at Lord & Taylor. My mom is plus size, his mom barely stands 5'.

My mom just ordered her dress wednesday - for october. We had a great experience at My Daughters Wedding III in Great Neck. Totally You in Wantagh also has a great selection. Good Luck!!!!
