FMIL - HELP!

FMIL - HELP!

My FMIL is flying in from Florida so I can help her find a makeup artist or a salon she could go to on my wedding day to get her makeup done. She will be staying at a Executive Inn in Woodbury on Jericho Turnpike and I was hoping some could recommend some nearby salons that do hair and makeup. Emphasis on makeup.

Now, allot of makeup artists will not come out just to do the FMIL so we were looking for anyplace close to the hotel she could drive to the day of the wedding.

I had one lady that was actually going to travel to her hotel room the day of and charge $250 to do her hair and makeup but she thought that was too expensive. Please help me!!! I do not want to drive all up and down Jericho TPK looking for salons. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

There is a mary kay rep (makeup only) that will travel that way. She only charges $50 for day of, I think. I'll FM you her email address.

You go to her for the trial (in Deer Park). I think she charges $25 for the trial. I am not using her, but another bride here did...

Meridian Hair Salon shouldnt be too far from there. It is on Jericho TPKE in Commack... I use them normally and they did my bridal party- Ask for Jack or Cindy... they have a makeup artist too- but I did not use her, I know people who have used her and they liked her a lot- I can't remember her name, but if you call , they will obv. know! good luck!

I would have but I will be getting ready in Queens and she will be in LI with her son getting ready at the hotel. They wanted to be together that day.

You can try Madison Salon & Spa in Woodbury Commons which I believe is vrey close to that hotel. The make-up artist that I will be using works out of that salon and has her own make-up business located in there.

Her name is Anne DeMarco.

Her name is Anne DeMarco.

I just called them and spoke with Rose, the bridal coordinator, who's really nice. Her prices were reasonable and I am going to go there tomorrow with FMIL to check it out. Thanks so Much!!!
