FMIL spoiled the surprise!!!!!!

OK, so my FIL's live in a gated community, so we needed to get a party code for peope to punch in for the after party. I am finishing up the directions to put in the invitations so I can mail them out this week. So, I ask FH to call FMIL and ask her for the code. So, she tells him that it is at work but it is written on the shower invitation, so tell me to ask someone for it.
Uh, hello!!! You just completely gave away the only detial about my shower that I didn;t know! Since I have to fly in from NC, I know when the shower is, I just didn't know where. So, now I know it is either at their house or (more likely) at the clubhouse in their community.
I am just so annoyed because she didn;t even think! Also, because she was so adamant about not having the rehearsal dinner (which they are paying for) at the club house because it wasn't nice enough for that.....but it is OK for my shower (which my parents are paying for) It is all about appearances............UGH!!!!!!
I can't wait to just be married and on a beach in Aruba far away from everyone!!!!!

Here's what I'm learning through this whole process:
In life, you cannot control what everyone else does/says. All you can control is your response to it. Hang in there! It's all good. Before you know it, your wedding will be here, and this will all be over. Try to enjoy yourself as much as possible.

wait, she told your FH to tell you to look on the shower invitation...why did HE tell you that information?? So he is the one that kinda told you about where it would be.
