Because she booked the rehearsal dinner place I chose no questions asked and offered to give us our 'gift' whenever we need it because she knows I'm starting my own business in 5 weeks . . . . because she said 'I just think it's so cool that you're marrying my son' . . . and because she said 'everyone will have advice, but you're the bride, and what you want is what you get.'

I am counting my blessings, I know that MIL's are not always so fantastic . . . I really am so happy!! I hate to rub it in, but she's also a concert pianist who might just hit the ivories at the CH!!!

My FMIL is awesome because she's always interested in not only the wedding but also me! Honestly i think i'm her favorite inlaw hehe . She's always giving great presents for my bday and christmas. She's always helping me out and cooking me my favorite foods. I can't ask for a better FMIL!
My FMIL has 4 sons...she is so excited about every part of the wedding and because my mom lives in Florida she has really been there for me in everything I need. I am very lucky!!
* she offered to cut me a check, no strings attached, for my gown bc she knows my mom can't afford to do it. * she is the single most interested person when it comes to the wedding. * she raised FH to be a compassionate, sensitive man who totally carries his weight w/ household stuff. * she worked, put herself through grad school, and took care of 3 children by herself at the age of 25 when her husband suddenly died. * she's kinder and more loving toward me and than any of my aunts. * she never meddles, always accepts and respects our decisions as adults, and has shown us nothing but love and kindness since i've been in this relationship.
MY FMIL is awesome because she is right there with everything we want. She totally supports everything we are doing & is so helpful with input that isnt pushy! They wanted to pay for the entire thing as did my parents but we wouldnt let them. Also because she tells me that im the daughter she never had (FH is only child) and that she loves me & how I am! She also happened to raise (along with husband) a son that is perfect in everyway!
My FMIL is the best, I couldn't ask for a better one. FH and I have known each other since we were 9 yrs. old so she is almost like a second mom to me. She loves me like her daughters. Even though FH is the baby of the family and the only boy and she babies him to no end. She loves us both unconditionally and really makes me feel part of the family!
My FMIL is awesome because we live in her house rent free. My mom lives in Florida half the year and upstate NY for half the year and every since she moved about 3 years ago I have been living with the in laws and it has been wonderful. Another great thing is that she will be there for every step of the way with wedding plans and other important events in my life when my mom is not. I love my FMIL like a second mother and I'm grateful for everything.
Even though FH is a momma's boy and it drives me insane sometimes, my FMIL is the best!
-She gave me roses the other day out of the blue, and said i got u these bcuz i love you and i am so happy that you are with my son and a part of my family.
-She bought me a Louie Vouitton bag for christmas
-She will go out of her way to do anything for FH and I
-She offered to give us a 'gift' for our wedding but we decided to save it for our first house.
I love my FMIL. I really do. She is a good hearted woman and is really involved with the wedding and helping us in so many ways. She is paying for the flowers, rehearsal dinner, photog/video, and limos. And, her wedding gift to us the honeymoon to Europe. So, during those times when I wonder what the hell is wrong with her I have to think back and appreciate all the good things she does. She has a strong personality that a lot of people don't get but I know she's a great woman and thankful for her.
Oh I forgot. We are going to live in her house rent free and buying their house in 2 years for HALF of what it's worth. I can't complain. And, one time she had this gorgeous eternity band on and I loved it and complimented it. I found it under the tree for me on X-Mas morning. So we now have the same ring.
I love love love my FMIL. She has 4 boys and only 1 is married so far. They didn't really include her in planning but I include her in EVERYTHING even though I am 1000 miles away. She gets so excited everytime we discuss something. I love her and my FFIL to death, I am sooo lucky. They treat me like I am one of their own and my FH thinks they love me more than they love him
