so if you read my other post, you know that i just came back from vacation. FMIL stopped in to check on our cat. it was supposed to be once, but she ended up coming three days in a row. in the meantime, she re-organized and cleaned parts of our kitchen, and stowed away our patio furniture with a cover that she brought over. she left behind a wire rack, re-arranged our glasses, moved some of the pots to the oven for storage, and gave us a wicker laundry basket. i don't know whether to be touched or embarrassed

OMG... I would've had a heart attack! God knows what my FMIL would have found if she ever did that!!

HAHA, that sounds like my FMIL. We're very close so I don't really mind when she does stuff like that, but it depends on your idea of 'space'. I wouldn't take it in a bad way, she probably just thought she could help you out!!

i love her. she was totally just being a mom, and the stuff she left behind is useful.

as long as she doesnt do it everytime she comes over i think its nice.....she wanted everything to be nice for when you came home from vacation.
