FML

FML

Fh just called me and told me that my car (he drives it to work everyday and the only car we have) was hit and pretty much totaled. He's a plumber so he drove to his shop and parked it and then was out on a job in his work truck with his boss with my car still parked at the shop. he got a call saying the car was hit. So he went back to the shop some woman hit another car and mine, pushing my car up into a pole. She then fled the scene, but left her car there with all her information in it (ID and insurance card) so the cops went to her house to find her. I just hope the insurance is legit and we get a new car (My car is only 2 years old) because we can't afford another expense right now. FML! AHHH! Sorry so long just really frustrated!

at least everyone is ok and hopefully the insurance will come through and it wont be too much of a hassle & expensive for you

sorry that happened. I hope everything gets straightened out quick. If your car is only 2 years old do you have collision because if she hit more than your car they will have to divide the pay out and that could take a while. I do personal injury and property damage every day. It would be easier to go through your own and your ins will subrogate to get your deductible back from the other insurance company.

If she has insurance everything should be covered. Including a rental car.

Well spoke to my insurance and they said i had the necessary insurance to cover this, but the woman had insurance. Its no fault for me, but we have to wait for the adjustor to go out and see if they total the car or try to fix it but from the looks of the pictures FH took it looks like the whole car frame is bent so it looks like it will probably be totaled which means we need to start looking for a new car

Well supposedly her insurance card was in the car after she fled and then the cops ran her license plate and the insurance came up so I believe its legit
