Happy New Year! I just realized that FH and I have our FOCCUS next month!
Has anyone does theirs? How was it?

It's not bad. You and FH will go to the house of a couple that's active in your parish's pre-cana/foccus program.
They'll talk to you a little bit about the process, etc., then split you up. I don't remember how many questions there are, but you answer on a scantron sheet -- agree, disagree or unsure. Some of the questions deal with whether you've discussed finances, having children, etc. Others are a little out there -- like 'I am concerned that my future spouse has homosexual tendencies' Agree/Disagree/Unsure.
You can't fail the test and your priest will never know your results. The idea is just to flag whether there are some fundamental issues that you and FH may not have discussed or may disagree about.
You go back to get your 'results' about a week or so later and discuss any issues you may have disagreed on.

it depends on the chuch. We took our FOCCUS test its self which is about 150 questions more if you already live with FH last Feb in the rectory and were told in about a month we would get the call from the FOCCUS couple to go over the results. Well almost a year later and we are finally going to get these results or whatever you want to call them on Sunday.
