Foccuss Test Results........

Anyone who took their foccuss test at the church and got a score of over 50% did the priest still need to sit down and talk with the both of you? I thought if you got above 50% they don’t need to discuss things with you, but the priest from the church called and said we need to make an appointment he still would like to discuss some things. This worries me a little just want to see if anyone else needed to do the same.

My Fiancee is Catholic, and I'm Lutheran because we are getting married in a Catholic Church it's a test of about 150 questions that you both take same questions and you Agree, Disagree, or Uncertain. Questions on children, finances, families etc.... Don't really know the reason to me it seemed more of like a compatabilty test but they say it's to see that you both discuss things and are in agreement when it comes to things when you get married .... Don't know how else to explain it....

We needed to take it before we took Pre-Cana

We scored above 50% on all categories, and had to go in to meet the priest. I think he's still required to meet with you not sure. We just went over our lowest category which was a 78%. Then he discusses all the things you need to do next such as pre-cana.

Thanks. I feel better I see your getting married in St. Patricks is that the one in Bay Shore? That's where we are getting married.

Yupp the one in Bay Shore. When did you take FOCCUS?? I think we did Feb 13

Maybe we were in the same one haha.

We took ours March 13. Who will be marrying you? Father Noviello will be our Priest...

same here! Yea he'll go over anything you scored under 50% on obviously, or your lowest category. It's so simple.

we didn't have to meet with the priest directly after the test....They told us that no one other than ourselves sees the test...we do have to meet with the priest now that pre-cana is over...which i believe is to just go over all the details of the day, which for us may be too soon to do...

We're getting married at St.Raphael's. We had to do Foccuss before we did pre-cana. The policy at our church is that no matter what your score is you still have to meet with a foccuss trained couple to go over your test before you can start pre-cana.

lol I'd be a nightmare at this. I hate being told what to do or being forced to do anything just bc someone says I have to. It doesn't even matter if it's good for me! lol

I;m such a rebel I guess.
