Taking the test tomorrow....anyone take this yet? FH and I are total opposites. We were thinking about choosing all A's so the priest doesn't look at us weird.

haha don't do that... answer them honestly the priest isn't going to judge you on anything. it's fun when you get the answers you can see where you guys are the same and where you're different.
just beware it's a 170something questions -- have ur FH read the questions carefully. mine got bored towards the end and was reading the questions all wrong bc he was reading them too fast haha.

LOL our priest told our group to read everything very carefully 'especially the MEN' because they've had a lot of men turn out to be homosexual based on the test b/c they're answering backward
As far as follow up on the test goes, in our parish, the priest doesn't go over anything with you - volunteer couples do. So if that helps it feel less intimidating, there you go!

You are too funny! Our FOCCUS was online and I have completed min, but Greg hasn't. (no surprise) We have time though.
Ours was internet based and take at your own pace/time. Answer the questions honestly. The test is really built so that you can engage in discussion. Find the weak points or differences in your relationship that maybe you never knew before. The FOCCUS test was 180 questions, which you answered with either 'Agree,' 'Disagree' or 'Neutral.'
I wish Greg would finish his so that we can go over it.
Have you begun pre-cana yet?

Pre- Cana isn't until February. Its only one weekend Saturday 8-4 and Sunday 8-12....much easier. I wish mine was online. it would make things so much easier. i would just do it at work. When do u have pre-cana? What Church are you going to?

with my pre-cana we got our results on the first session, but each couple went over their results privately. our deacon gave us each a different room.
don't worry about it too much though, i had fun reading our answers and seeing what we agreed on and what we didn't. haha

We have started pre-cana already. Instead of the weekend, we opted for weeknight. Its only four Wednesday sessions and we are actually enjoying it. Our hosting couple are very sweet as well as the other couples in the group.
We had to get it done early because the other session start dates were no good for us.

OMG... you are too funny. You didn't have to lie about that. We told out priest and deacon. They don't like it, but aren't going to deny you marrying in a church because of that. Lol

HAHAHA i was too scared to tell him so I put that I live with my Dad. I think he saw through it cause I got all red and Steve and I looked at each other and said 'we don't live together' at the same time haha

No do not do that !! LOL - its a great exercise. It was fascinating.. If you put what you think the other wants to hear or what the priest wants to hear you completely screw up the results..
FH and I are opposites too and we did surprisingly very well..
If you dont agree on alot of the subject matter you shouldn't get married LOL!! It only asks things like, do you want to have kids, do you put your families first, do you love one another etc

They really don't care, there's a section of the test for if you live together!

Oh great now what do i do? tell them in the test we live together but i already told the priest we dont. What is FH says we dont and i tell him we do hahahaha that would be awesome!
