Re: FOCUS test?!
they just questions like do you live together already, what your plans are for the future, if you've discussed joint bank accounts, etc. it is 150 questions but most of them are repeat questions that are just worded differently to see if your answers change. it took us about 30 mins to complete. dont sweat it. its not a pass or fail thing. when the results are in, someone from the parish will call you and set up a meeting with you both to go over your answers. it'll be a married couple who will also offer advice.

Re: FOCUS test?!
Don't be nervous. It is not a 'Test'. The questions are designed to show you areas that you can communicate better or topics that you have the opportunity to discuss. There is no grade. They simply sit with you and tell you where your answers differ. Each of you takes the questionare alone and then you review it as a couple.
Examples:
We have discussed how many children we want. Yes, no, maybe I am comfortable with the amount of money we save. yes, no, maybe
All stuff like that. There is no right or wrong answers and they tear up your results after they discuss it with you.

Re: FOCUS test?!
My favorite question was:
Does your future spouse sometimes do things that annoy you?
My sister warned me that that one would be on there! But she told me it would say, 'Is your future spouse annoying?' There is a BIG difference between those two questions!
There isn't anything to be nervous about. It's a great learning experience and it helps you think of things that might not have occured to you. For example, everyone talks about how many kids you want, but how many people actually talk about HOW you want to raise them or how they will be disciplined? They don't make you answer these questions, but they ask if you have talked about it. A lot of it is like that...have you talked about x, y and z.
Hope that helps!
