My church doesn' t have the 'Focus Test' only the precana. Were can we go just for the Focus test? Or is there a place thats not too expensive that does both ? Thanks everyone

Re: Focus Test
is it a Catholic Church? I am pretty sure they have to give you the FOCUS test, but if not you should ask them if they can recommend a place..

Re: Focus Test
The Focus Test is not a necessity for Pre-Cana or getting married in a Catholic church. A lot of churches make it a requirement, but many others don't.
My church didn't do the Focus Test, so we only did Pre-Cana which was fine.

You can call the diocese of Rockville center and express interest. I am sure they can point you in the right direction.

Re: Focus Test
We did our Focus test and precana for $75 through our church...St. Francis of Assisi in Greenlawn. Although, we had to do 5 weekly sessions...but I thought the price was pretty low compared to some I've heard. I don't know when they're next session is, but I would also call the Diocese of Rockville Ctr.

Re: Focus Test
What exactly is a focus test? I've never heard of it (I'm guessing our church doesn't do it).

That's good to know. Our priest only mentioned pre-cana and not focus. I had to sign up for the pre-cana through the Dioces(sp?). $250 later the church robs you blind.
