Tonight FH and I are going to the church to take the FOCUS test. Has anyone taken this before??????? I am so scurrrred! Can you tell me what to expect if you have taken this?
We didnt have to take any test! What exactly is this???
You take these questions and FH takes the same and then they look and compare your answers.
NOPE DIDNT DO THAT. IS IT BEFORE OR AFTER PRECANA??? THE DEACON JUST SPOKE WITHME 7 THEN FH SEPERATELY FOR A MINUTE OR TWO & THAT WAS IT.
I thought that test was so silly! You will see what i mean when you take it tonight. They have a right or wrong answer for each question. No matter what the answer is they WILL NOT tell you that you cannot get married in their church. They just want the lines of communication open between you and FH. That is the purpose for this test. Because when you leave you and FH will ask each other what you put for # 1 or whatever number and that starts a conversation of why you put one answer and maybe he put another. I was so nervous about this test until we went in a took it. My FH and I actually laughed at some of the questions because you wouldn't think a church would ask some of these. Have fun and relax. There is NOTHING to be scared or nervous about.
my friend did this and said it was great. actaully helped a lot in their communication and what not...just questions about life....to see if you're on the same page but there are no WRONG answers
Sounds good then. I thought they really made you go to counseling if you 'failed'.
