K so I am planning to make my programs today, but I will need to fold the paper. I am so afraid that it is too difficult to fold cardstock and make it look nice (no crinkles). Any suggestions?

get a boner!
no seriously, there are these things called boners (i think?) that help you make a nice crisp fold...you can probably find one at an ac moore or something

Re: folding cardstock
You can do it the old fashioned way. With a flat metal ruler make a mark at each end for guidance. Make sure to use a flat ruler because any other ruler will make it hard to follow. Then line the ruler up with the markers and use something dull like a butter knife or cuticle pusher and run it alongside the ruler. This will make your crease. Gently fold, and voila!!!

Azad....you are a naughty girl!
Seriously, the bone folder is great and it has smoth edges so you don't make any marks on the paper. It's really easy to use. You use the flat wide part to push down and across on the paper...now don't get that confused with down and out. This is down and across.

You girls are silly! I think one of the other ladies suggested something similar to 'scoring.' Basically, just run an open scizzor (so its just 1 blade) down and across the area in which you want to fold. It takes away just enough of the paper so that it will easily fold. Press too hard, though, and you'll tear the paper.

OK I thinkyou can all imagine the visual that popped (key word) into my head... never saw one folding card stock I've been hanging out with FH too much lately.

Re: folding cardstock
I think you would need a flat boner for it to work anyway.
Took the scissor tip, so far it has worked. This is going to take forever when I do the programs though!

Re: folding cardstock
The easiest way to do it is get a paper cutter (from michael's or staples) and then get a scoring blade to put in there. It creases the paper when you run the blade over the paper (run it back and forth 4-5 times). I did this for my wedding party booklets and it worked great.
