Follow-up Post

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Star, thank you for being so strong as to relay your story to me. I was very touched. This afternoon, FH told me he spoke to his father (while I was at work) and he seems to want to be cautiously optimistic and push the date up if we can. SO.... I have a lot of work to do. I'm hoping that my hall (Shelter Rock Jewish Center) has any dates at all available in the next 3 months and then I'll work from there and call all of my vendors to see if they are all available. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can still use them all because I am so excited about my band, florist & photographer. FH wrote a beautiful letter to all of our guests that we will send out as soon as we know the date before we have the invitations. They all got save-the-date/announcements like 8 months ago, so we will need to notify them of the situation. I have a feeling I'm going to be quite overwhelmed for the next month with pulling everything together, since we still want the same party, only sooner. His father refuses to change our plans (he loves a good party :-) ) Tomorrow I'll run to bridal reflections and put a major rush on my gown.... Wish me luck, and thanks again for your shoulders :-)

I do not recall your first post but I can only imagine that someone (perhaps your FIL) is very ill. My prayers go out to you and your family. Please let us know how the vendors help you. I think this really puts a good vendor to the test. I am sure you will be able to still have a great wedding.
