I am SOOOOOO angry at how they treated her!!

I just put this together and want to email it to them:

'Your Carle Place store is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW DARE you treat people so badly? Your seamstresses are the worst! How can you let someone’s dress fall apart and then “determine” that it is not your fault!? As a bride to be, I would NEVER give you a dime of my business! Your reputation has been smeared on the internet for all to see. Quite a few other brides like myself have already “DETERMINED” that we will not be shopping at your store.

Have a nice day!'

I agree with your anger over Daniela's problems with BR, but I would be careful about the way you phrase your displeasure.

Using words like 'smear' are generally not a good idea. It might also reflect badly on Daniela.

Definitely express your displeasure on the treatment she has received, but I would carefully choose your wording.

I think we shoudl spread the word on 06 and 07 since most 05 brides already have their dress.

Can we go and picket the place together to really hurt the business?? 'heck no we wont go' and all that?>

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your concern and sentiments. Bridal Reflections asked me not to contact them, and if I do, that is a violation of privacy laws so I do not want to get anyone here in any kind of trouble so it is probably best if you do not contact them but I will think of something. Your support is remarkable

I don't understand, why can't you contact them? Privacy laws? That is utterly ridculious! You have ever right to pursue settlement of an issue! They are just trying to 'scare you' away. Did you pay for any part of the dress via credit or debt card?

they can't tell you not to contact them- get '7 on your side' or something- this is insane

Maybe everyone could send an email like this:

As was stated of Rudy Giuliani during the horrific acts of September 11th, a person’s worth and merit is tested at times of greatest adversity. The same holds true for all institutions of any kind, whether civil, retail or otherwise.

After reading some of the experiences past brides have had with your Carle Place bridal shop, I would never shop there nor recommend it to any woman in the need of formal wear. This is due to how you handled an adverse situation. Denying any responsibility for a product you sell, whether made on premises or not, is inexcusable. If the product is inferior, why are you selling it then?

Perhaps hearing that at least one, if not many, win never solicit your shop and advise all those around us to avoid such, you will understand that customer service on every level is vital to a thriving business and that some times, taking a loss for the sake of customer business is a better decision then denying responsibility for a product you sell. You have definitely lost one sale of a gown.

you're right! I wrote this out of anger. but seriously, they have some nerve to treat her like that and then 'determine' that they were not at fault. they are not qualified to make that decision.
