fondant cake icing with buttercream flowers?

Our cake has fondant icing, but it comes with buttercream decorations. If we wanted sugar decorations, it'd cost extra. What are your takes on fondant icing with buttercream vs. sugar decorations? Do you think either would look ok? Any pictures would be great! TIA! Oh, and the cake we're getting is from Audrey's Bakery - Forever Entwined. cake link

Another thing - off topic, but I never know how to put Returns/Enter in a new line so my post isn't all jumbled up Does anyone know what to do?

Very pretty cake!

The cake in the photo is not fondant, it's buttercream.

If you're going to use rolled fondant, what about fresh flowers? They would look pretty and match the fondant better than the soft lines of buttercream!

And about spacing before or after a link- once you enter the link did you try to go back behind it and hit enter?

The cake is beautiful!

I love sugar and buttercream, and imagine that either flowers will be delicious. They say buttercream is a little more prone to melting, but as long as your ceremony is inside, your RH will know what to do to make sure the cake doesn't start dripping everywhere and is kept in good condition for you and your guests!

Thanks everyone for your opinions!

And thanks for the suggestion for the spacing for posts! I think I was confused because when you preview the post, it never shows you the spacings.

Lol, I totally stopped bothering with previewing anything for exactly that reason.

Have you tried ordering your own sugar flowers online? I ordered AMAZING cymbidium orchids and stephanotis sugar flowers from wholesale sugar flowers. They arrived in 3 days, I want to say it was like $30 for a box of 10 cymbidum orchids and 40 stephanotis. They are AMAZING! My florist only offerred roses and I want my cake to mimic my bok.
