Fonts off the Internet *updated with examples, please help*

I have gone to some of the sites you guys have sent over...and it seems that I have to pay for the font I want - Kuenstler. Also, how do I identify some fun scripty curly calligraphy type fonts? All these sites seem to have is teenage Goth crap...

can anyone help?

Re: Fonts off the Internet

I think I am - I won't know until I have it D/L in my computer so I can test it. My invitations are in Trajan and Kuenstler so I was wondering if I should use the Kuuenstler on the envelopes...

But no, it doesn't have to be. I did a search and came up with some other scripty type stuff, so I can go look at those.....

Hun, I would match the invite font and the envelopes font..

Re: Fonts off the Internet

Rachel, I found the font names from our invite to be different name than found on the websites (www.dafont.com). Perhaps that's the case.

But also, we changed the font for our RSVP envelopes from the invite font, b/c it was the invite font was a little difficult to read and we didn't want the post office to have trouble with it. So we did the switcheroo, and I doubt anyone noticed.

Re: Fonts off the Internet

Marcella, on the invitation itself, me and FH's names are in Kuenstler (scripty and curly-ish) and then there is a 'motif' (a scripty curly symbol thing that I love) and then the details of the invitation are in Trajan - which is an all caps font. SO I thought maybe Kuenstler for the addressing. Here is my invitation:

THis is what Kuenstler looks like - not sure it will be real readable?

not sure if you like it but why not use the scripty one for the names and the blocky (trajan) for the address?

I will check when I get home to see if I have that font. It sounds familiar to me so maybe I do.

PS: I used a very scripty font (bickham script) for the addresses and the PO had no problem delivering them.
