Food at a Baby Shower...

Can anyone suggest some food for a baby shower? Something casual. It will be at someone's house. Thanks!

My baby shower was at my Aunt's house and she cooked everything, Salmon, penne pasta with sun dried tomatoes, and ziti, they made a tossed salad with feta cheese...it was very good YUM!

For pickings there was salsa with tortilla chips, fresh fruit, assorted cheese and crackers and potatoe chips and dip, and dip with fresh veggies.
OK who's hungry??

For my friend's shower in June I had brie, cheese platter, veggie platter, chips/dips, stuffed mushrooms, samon rolls for apps.
For main food I had penne alla vodka, a cold cut platter, rolls, salad, and a few other dishes.

You might want to check with the mommy-to-be. Certain foods may not agree with her - for my cousin's shower we couldn't have red sauce anywhere near the place - she could't stand the sight, smell or taste of it. We were scrambling to find a suitable Italian-ish entree without red sauce.
