food at your reception

if you could have whatever your little hearts desired, what would it be??

smcc's cocktail hour provides one of our favorites: pizza bagels!! yes, not elegant at all, more laid back like me and chris

if it truly were up to me and $$ was no object i would have:

LOBSTER!!!!
mini hot dogs
Tin roof sundae ice cream!!
all finger foods - no fancy schmany stuff, just fun casual foods

what about you?

Hmm... off the top of my head

Fondue at each table (cheese and chocolate for dessert)
Quesadillas
Paella
Shellfish, shrimp, lobster! (can't have it because it's not kosher )

ETA: hot fudge brownie sundaes!

i agree with you on the pizza bagels, that would be awesone, we are also laid back and even if money were no option, i would want all casual finger foods.

I would want a combination of stragen food:

Lobster
French Fries
pizza Bagels (yum)
Perogies (Ukranian food)
Cherry Garcia Ice Cream
FI's mom's pasta
Lots of finger foods
Spinach dip with the pumpernickel bread..

I am sure I could think of more and more

I am sacrificing my favorite foods to have a kosher wedding. I read in the 'New Jewish Wedding' that it even if you don't plan on having a kosher home, that is it nice to establish a Jewish home with your first meal as husband and wife being kosher. OY VEY!

we updated the sushi bar and the seafood boat- but I would add the lobster to theseafood boat if I could afford it...and to the sushi bar i would get the man to come with it...

We are having a seafood bar, sushi station, wok station, fajita station, and some others at our wedding. I would love to have an ice cream sundae station. We were offered that at Westbury Manor. I would also love to have pizza bagels!! YUMMY!!

I am glad they offered you the ice cream sundae station at the WM, because I am asking for it. FH and I met while working at Haagen-Dazs (and he proposed to me there) so I think it is a MUST DO for us! Thanks!

I would definitely add Lobster to the menu for a Surf & Turf option.
Unfortunately, my CH doesn't offer mini hotdogs, so i would add them!
But I will be getting my mashed potato bar!!!

Honestly I can't think of anything that I would want that I am not already having. I'm having a seafood station which I didn't care if I had because I don't like fish, but they gave it to me. I'm having a sundae station. I can't think of anything. If I do I'll shall return.
