Food Favors
I'm thinking of doing some sort of food for my favors. Does anyone have any ideas who to use or what to do? Possibly cake pops, cupcakes in a jar, or just mini cupcakes to go in a box?!
Search in your own words. Describe what you need or ask a wedding planning question.

Sugar chic in Amityville. I've used her for all of the things you listed just haven't done the in the jar thing.
If you go to the Huntington Hilton on Monday for their showcase you can get ideas. They have a company come and you get to try it, I think its A Fresh Approach or something
Check out Afresh Approach in Bay Shore for truffles/cake pops. We used them for our wedding, and the truffles were delicious!
Thanks! I'll definitely be going to the LI Bridal Extravaganza on Monday so I'm hoping they have a few companies there to check out!
The wedding I went to on Saturday, their place cards were little mason jars filled with pink gummy bears and then had a peace of string with the guests name and table number. I thought it was cute.
I've heard a lot of good things about Sugar Chic and Afresh Approach. Also - Manhattan Sweets in Islip has delicious macaroons!
check out http://www.homemadebyyourdesign.com/ https://www.facebook.com/ByYourDesign4 she does amazing stuff and its so delicious!!
I went to a wedding that had tates cookies and popcorn from nofo crunch. I thought it was adorable that their favors supported local businesses.
I love the idea of food for favors. We went to a wedding and she made chocolate covered oreos(her theme was black & white).Someone else got apple jam from Etsy and it was great. We're hopefully doing something along those lines too(thinking of mini liquor bottles w/swedish fish & saying 'we are o-fish-ally married'..we're doing a nautical theme lol)
I definitely want to do something edible! I was thinking cake pops, or smores. My mom suggested jam or honey but I am not sure yet.
Our venue has send off options, so we are sending everyone home with a freshly grilled pretzel.
Since I'm doing a rustic theme I will be doing S'mores with a tag that says 'S'more love' or 'S'more love from the newly married couple' along with a chalkboard that has this cute saying I found on pinterest
