We have been all over creation looking at catering halls, and right now we have narrowed it down to Crest Hollow Country Club and The Swan Club. Our biggest reservation anywhere (cost aside) is the food. Is it any good? Has anybody been to either or both and willing to share their food experience?

My sister had her wedding at the Swan Club this summer. I don't eat shellfish but the cocktail hour shellfish display looked impressive even to me. I thought my main course (I had sea bass) was good. My friend is glatt kosher and she appreciated being able to get a kosher meal, totally sealed (even the utensils!) The viennese table looked good but there was a really long line and I didn't feel like waiting on it, so I have no idea how the dessert was. My biggest complaint is that they told her her room would hold 200, she had 180 and it was cramped. Her bridal attendant was truly amazing.

I've only been to Crest Hollow. The food was okay, nothing amazing. The CH was okay, they didn't have too many passed hors devours, and the ones that were were very simple, but I don't know if that was the couple's choice or not. The dinner was pretty good, they had a lot of options. It was all pretty typical.

I've been to 2 weddings at Crest Hollow. The menu didn't have many choices, and the food was ok - nothing really memorable.
I'm not sure about Swan Club as I've never been to a wedding there, but the decor is absolutely gorgeous.

yes... my brothers was at the Swan Club... i honestly do not remember the food... my mom broke her ankle the week before, FH got jumped and was in the hospital 2 days before, my dad had the flu... and we were having christmas dinner at our house 3 days later (with my ENTIRE family)... it was kind of insane... but ive heard really good things about the food, the grounds are gorgeous...
Crest Hollow - my sister got married there... i love the cocktail hour... the food was awesome... the bridal suite was great... very roomy...

I just did the tasting for Swan club and I really liked what we both got. We only got to taste one fish and the Chateaubriand and I liked them both.

I just had my wedding at swan club in august and the food was GREAT!!!! i cannot tell you how many guests raved about my wedding... my BIL, SIL, and mom's friend all want to have their events there as well... I told them PLEASE DO so i can experience SC like they got to at my wedding... And the staff is phenomenal! I love them...
