Food Poisoning... AGAIN... for me last night!

This time the culprit was Taco Bell. THAT was a mistake. ugh......................

Some people say that once you have food poisoning once, you're more prone to food borne illnesses. I wonder if I'm doomed for awhile now. I'm SO worried I'll get sick on my honeymoon after eating something bad in Disney or something!!!

The good part about being sick is how my FH comes to my rescue. Poor guy had to clean it all up. AND he ran to 7-11 for me to get my ginger ale at midnight and set up the couch for me with pillows and stayed up with me.

And he made me laugh... kept calling me stinky and said he doesn't remember in Cosmo them saying this is one of the 'top ten ways to turn your husband on'. But I told him that him taking care of me and getting ginger ale definitely does it for me!

Thank God I'm feeling better this morning... maybe I'll lose another 5 pounds out of this!

Well.... I was going to say God punished you for eating Taco Bell less than one month b4 your wedding But you're right!!! I think he actually blessed you!

thanks... I went to the one in East Islip. I know... you would think I'd be on my best behavior, but I don't have time to be good with three weeks left! lol.

maybe you have a reaction to a particular food, and you shouldn't eat that. You can't get food poisoning unless you eat something filled with bacteria, viruses, and/or parasites or eat something poisonous.. maybe you should keep a record of what you eat and what makes you sick, that way you will know to avoid certain foods.

The known causes of food poisoning can be divided into 2 categories: infective agents and toxic agents.


Infective agents include viruses, bacteria, and parasites.


Toxic agents include poisonous mushrooms, improperly prepared exotic foods (such as barracuda), or pesticides on fruits and vegetables.

Hope you are feeling better as well....

But this is true. It could have also been a bug. I had to go to the hospital once because I was throwing up for 24 hours straight and had to get an IV and my parents asked the doctor if it was food poisioning or something else and he said usually it is just a bug.

Nah, it was definitely food poisoning. All the typical signs. 45 minutes and done. Both, um, ways. And the little alien dancing in my stomach and TERRIBLE cramping right before to WARN me, which is my sure sign of bad food doing it's thing. The doctor told me that after the last time I had TERRIBLE food poisoning that landed me in the hospital, that I would now be more likely to be susceptible to food bourne illnesses than someone who didn't have it. So, ta-da! Last night, he was right. Once it was out, I felt better. And today, I'm fine.

Oh you poor thing, well I hope you are feeling better soon. Well you know he'll be there for the better if he's already experience some of the worst.

Sarah-once you are better get yourself a god pro-biotic. It will help prevent this in the future. I hope you feel better.

How about telling that Taco Bell about it? Maybe there is a problem. Also, if they don't seem to care, the health department is a next step.

Then STAY AWAY from Pizzafari in Animal Kingdom!

In all fairness, I got heat stroke, so it wasn't the pizza's fault, but it wasn't all that appetizing either. But yeah, I spent 24 hours spending more quality time with my face in a Carribean Beach toilet than I wish to admit to.

I wouldn't worry about being sick on your honeymoon. Concentrate on getting better now!

Well at least it'll help you lose weight and sway you away from fast food for the next few weeks!
