we are still deciding on the carlyle- do you know how big the portions are for the entree?
My wedding was at the Carlyle in June. The portions are a good size and presented well. Believe me, no one will leave your wedding hungry!!! (Most people are full from the cocktail hour, but continue eating cuz its so good!)
I agree with Valenia. My wedding was in November and no one left hungry. Plus, I did the desert cafe, instead of the desert plate, and there was an enormous selection of goodies for any one who still had room.
For varieties sake, I thought I'd add that I did the dessert plate -- my wedding was an afternoon so the cafe wasn't an option. The plate was basically three deserts on a single plate, so delicious, and way too much for anyone to eat heheh.
My wedding is there this Friday- I ate at the restaurant, and it was great!
I think with any wedding today - you get so much food. There's no chance of anyone leaving hungry.
