Food Processors..

Is everyone registered for one? Does it pay to get one if you already have a mini chopper (for chopping onions and small stuff)?

I did register for one and we got it as an engagement gift but to tell you the truth I've had it over a year and used it maybe 3 times...

I have both a mini chop and regular sized one and definitely use both. But I also love to cook new things and try different recipes. If you don't cook as often then it's possible you can just get by with the mini.

We registered for and received the mini 4 cup chop and a hand mixer.

In a few years I'll probably buy myself the food processor if i need it. I dont have the space/use for it right now.

I registered and received a cuisinart hand blender that has a mini chop attachment (love it!) and a cuisinart blender/foodprocessor combo. Dont have the space now for both and its perfect!

nope- we just registered for the mini chopper (which by the way someone bought in white, not the chrome which i requested!) Boooo - first item that needs to be returned to BBB

Re: Food Processors..

I've had one for several years now and I am always wishing I just had a mini chopper so I dont have to lug out the big food processor. It is pretty good if you want to make a soup that needs to be puree'd. Mine is kitchenaid.

FH was the Cuisinart 11 cup food processor. he uses it for everything. grating cheese, chopping onion/garlic. & a whole bunch of other thing too. i stay out of the kitchen when he cooks.
