sure steak is 10$.. not bad,right? WRONG if its 8.99 a lb.. and last week it was on sale for 4.99.... WAIT til it goes back on sale. Chances are your fh wont give a shiizzz whats for dinner

def me too! i'm such a nerd, every thursday i go through all of those grocery store ads to see what has sales on what, and i plan my sunday dinner accordingly

OMG!!!!!!!! fh and I go every sunday - I am the coupon queen. It is like a game to me to see how much I can save
I get all excited when I see 'you saved $xx.xx' I shoot for over $40, my record high is $57 something (I AM A LOSER)
I try to buy only what is on sale with a coupon - if it is not on sale I don't buy it unless we need it!!!!!

I only shop things that are on sale or if I have a coupon, unless we desperately need it. And for meat/chicken I usually go to Costco buy the big package and split it up into ziplocs and throw it in the freezer-last us like 2 months

I was at first - but you have seen my FH - we EATTTTTT!!!!
I was spending so much on food every week, and we get the newspaper delivered, on sunday we cut and go.
but now it's a game to me I love seeing the savings.
