When is everyone doing this? My FI says it's to early that the chef could change between now and then. I was thinking towards the end of the summer. he was thinking we should do it around this time next year. I think that is way to late.
i think we are going about a month before the wedding. yes the chef/kitchen staff can change, but i really doubt that the food will change that much. chicken is chicken, right?

We do ours about two months before the wedding.
My hall does not do tasting but we did go out to dinner at the restaurant on our one year to do mark and it was great!
I did mine prior to booking with the hall...Technically they don't do them, but we requested it!
Our contract is contigent on a food tasting, but we're not going to do it until much closer to the date..really a food tasting is at least partially about choosing your menu...if I taste the food now, I'm not going to really remember what everything tasted like when i do the menu, plus who knows what could change by then.
