How many people typically go to a tasting.. I always assumed it was just the bride and groom... but it seems like people bring parents sometimes too...

My parents, FILs and me and FH, so there were 6 of us. But our food tasting was a plate of appetizers and three entrees that we had to share. So it depends on who you want to bring.

Dh, my mom, his mom and dad, and myself. They served us all what was one the menu. Everyone had the salad, a choice of soup, and then everyone had a different entree. They had a seperate event where we could go to try appetizers, stations, and passed stuff for cocktail hour, that we brought 3 other people too.

We went just DH and I. I didn't realize we could bring more people!! Otherwise I prob would've brought my mom and DH's daughter, tho it was nice having the tasting for just the 2 of us.

There were 6 of us Me, FH, my mom and dad, my sister and her DH
My sister and her DH were in town and we had gone to their tasting (because the live in the DC area) so they came to our's...they were a late addition but EW was great in accomodating us.
