Re: food tasting...
Are you getting married at the Swan Club? When I was thinking about signing with them, they told us that they do food tastings during their showcase.
WM gave us a free tasting before signing and Fox Hollow just gave us free appetizers and drinks

I can't believe they would make you pay. They let us come in on the weekend when there are parties going on.

the swan club doesn't charge for a tasting - you go during their lunch hours, but as long as you make a reservation for a tasting and order from the tasting menu, its free :)

our RH had us come in during a weekday evening wedding for a tasting, and we ate in the unused bridal suite.

Land's End host tasting events for their couples and their parents and its free. They offered to do it before signing, too, but I wanted to do it closer to the wedding in case the menu options changed.
