When are you going to your food tasting? Anyone do there food tasting at Venetian Yacht Club yet?
We set ours up immediately after booking. We're planning from upstate, so it was more convenient for us. I am a VYC bride and I really enjoyed the tasting. Like other venues, they typically do it while there is a party going on. It's nice because you get a good idea of what it will taste like when they're making a ton of food at your wedding. We loved everything. My father is a particularly hard food critic and he didn't have a single negative comment! I think we had the garlic chicken, filet mignon, and salmon. Loved it all!
We had ours right away bc we have not been to a party at our hall nor did we know anyone who had been to a party/wedding there. Our contract was based in the food saying. If we didn't like the food, we were allowed to walk away with no penalty. Thank god we loves the food bc I love my hall!!!

We had our taste testing back in March and it was delicious! Our parents loved it and my FH is gluten free n they had a whole big plate for him with all gluten free food! They even offered to get him gluten free beer. I was very impressed with the food!!

I had my tasting on saturday and it was awesome!! Even with a wedding and another event going on they were amazingly organized, efficient and made us feel completely welome. All of the food was delicious and plentiful, our server was awesome and friendly, and Daisy the banquet manager answered any and all questions. Lastly and most important, the dessert platter of petite fours and chocolate covered strawberries was out of this world! Made me excited all over again, I cannot wait for our Wedding!
