Food Tasting next week @ CLM

I am planning to go to the food tasting next week at CLM and I was wondering to the brides who already went to the tasting, is the food great and all? I heard it is great but I wanna hear from everyone here. FI and I are still deciding between the 2 places for our wedding next year. ARGH hating planning everything on my own.

you will have a great time, they have a DJ and a few vendors there for you to see, open bar, and then for dinner they set it up family style, the bring out a huge platter with a bit of everything and everyone at the table takes from the pllatter!
you will love the food!!!

It just going to shuck going on my own. My mother doesn't get off from work until 8:30. My brother and sister-in-law have to go to a bible study class at church. MOH and her BF are going to Hawaii the next day. FI is of course away too, so it's all me. Even my FMIL can't go because of work. :(

Anyway I'm gonna take plenty of pics and review on the food. It's very important for my family to have great food.

The tasting I went to @ the end of August was awesome and they set up a chocolate fountain in the back which was delicious. Sorry you have to go alone but I hope you enjoy yourself!

bring anybody u know...dont go by yourself...they really treat u great...everytime i turned around i had more wine in my glass...they even packed all our leftovers for us to bring home..and the food was soooo good.. they really take care of u at that place...everytime i go to make a payment and im waiting to be seen they ask me if me and fh want a beer or something to drink they are just so great there..

I really have my heart on this place. I just hope the 5th isn't gone. Even if it's late October, we don't mind.

As for food, they better not get me drunk because I do have to work in the morning.

Your going to have a huge platter of most of the selections they have available for main courses. So find anyone to go with you because it is a ton of food. Plus you get a full meal service salad and app then you get a huge cookie tray so tons of goodies to bring home.

We were so happy with the service and food and booked shortly after.

I think it's September 12th. I had my brochure at home with the date of the tasting there. I think it is Wednesday nite. If another bride can go with me I would be so happy since I have no one to go with me. :(

i would love to go i will call them and see if they still have reservations

I am going to call this evening, once I'm home from work to make a reservation for the tasting. :) Then I can also ask which dates are for the upper room and which is for the main room at CLM.

As I said, my SIL (she's also my BM) would forget about going to bible study and go but have to work until midnite. She wants leftovers and pics. Ditto with mom.

i went to the tasting in may and i asked what was available for november of 08 and they only had 2 saturday days availalble so u should really make a decision and ill cross my fingers that u get your date...

Yikes. I'm still crossing my fingers for 10/5. If not 9/20 or 9/21. You can blame the wait game on FI. He kinda wants CBB since our original date is open (9/28) but CLM seems prettier.

Everything there is terrific! You can't ask for a better place! Doing it September 27th 2008 in the big room and I can't wait! Everything there is delicious and they take such good care of you! Good luck and lets hope you get the date! Let us know how it goes!!
