Oh no!! I use aloe and moisturizer like crazy so I don't peel too bad... to take away the sting I've heard to take an oatmeal bath in lukewarm water. Feel better!!

I went out and sat for exactly 25 minutes in the sun today to try to get some color on my shoulders but I don't think it worked! Fortunately you've got enough time for it to fade to a lovely glow between now and the wedding!

I don't have any remedies, sorry. I'm allergic to aloe! The only thing I can ever use is the neutrogena after sun lotion (it's cooling and nice).

Ohh I hate when I get sun burnt, it hurts so bad! If you haven't already stick the aloe in the fridge, it feels great when it's nice and cold!

Other than that I don't think very many remedies work, I actually got a bad burn from the tanning salon a few months ago and tried everything and found that aloe and comfy loose clothes were the only things that really made me more comfortable.

Feel better!

Take an aspirin!! For some reason whenever I would get a bad sunburn, my mom would give me aspirin, keep it cool - use ice packs or a cold cloth, and keep it moist - I recommend Banana Boat After Sun Aloe Lotion (they also make a spray - which might be better if it is a bad burn)

Feel better - just keep it moist and it shouldn't peel

Sorry I am crashing but COLD YOGURT is amazing!!!!!!!!!!
just spread it on your body and stand there for a little - let it dry on you then just shower or wipe it off. It ***** out all the heat from you body.

GOOD LUCK!

I went running this morning around 10am (isn't that before the sun comes out?) and I was only out for a little over an hour and I got color...a little red actually. Yuck!

Oh No! Put the Aloe in the freezer, thats what I do and it feels sooo cool.

I did the same thing on Friday.

Take a bowl and put ice in it, then fill it with cold water. Take a face/wash clothe and soak it in the bowl. Then place it to the burn and press down until the face/wash clothe is warm. Then ring it out and dip it back in the ice water bowl and do it again.

This takes some of the heat out of the burn.

Then apply Aloe.

It won't stop it from hurting but it will take the burn down. My shoulder looked a lot less red the next morning. It still hurts because I did a number on it, but I can't imagine what it would have been like if I hadn't done this.

By the way... I got this technique when I got a 2nd degree burn (from tea) all down my leg and my leg heeled in record time and scar free because I did this every night for two weeks. The doctor told me to use it on sunburns and I have ever since.
