? for a friend..

maybe you girls can offer some advice...my bff has been engaged for 4 months..wedding planned with the basics..rh photographer, and dj...she just found out her fiance was 'touched' by another woman (dont know if I can say the term on here..but not with her mouth if you know what i mean)
he came clean and told her she just touched him..it was a bad mistake he was wasted, they didnt kiss..my bff was beyone livid and called the woman...who was totally freaked out, and told her the same exact story so there is nothing either is hiding..I honestly dont know what to tell her...

Yikes! That is a really personal situation and she has to decide how to proceed on her own. Did she have any trust issues with him before this happened? Does she feel like because of this that she doesn't feel as in love with him or is nervous about the future?

I've honestly never been in this situation with DH or with any other person I'd ever dated, so I don't know how I'd feel. If it happened now that we're married, I'd be livid and hurt and feel like something about our relationship was a sham. I don't know if this friend's fiance has a drinking problem, but I don't think his being drunk is much of an excuse. Although at the same time, I do think it's good he told her about it so there was honesty there.

My best advice is that they try to sit down and talk about the situation and why it could or would never happen again. If she's still comfortable, she can proceed from there. But the last thing you want to do is go into a marriage already having visions of future cheating.

Wow, it's a pretty effed up situation, that's for sure. As much as it sucks ROYALLY, I guess you do have to give him credit for being honest with the situation. I know PLENTY of guys who would've said, 'well I didn't kiss her or have sex with her so nobody has to know.'

Having said that, she DEFINITELY needs to do a little soul searching and figure out now if she thinks anything along these lines, or worse, could come around again in the future. I know I would be somewhat embarassed if I had to call off my wedding, but then again, better he cry now then you cry later.

As for the whole, 'I was wasted' thing, not for anything, you may not remember certain things the next day but you know damn well what you're doing at the time you're doing it.

Hi, thank you for the responses...no trust issues before at all..I know their relationship and he adores her, It is so not like him to do something like this. I know she wants to continue the wedding planning but at the moment can hardly look at him..its a bad situation.
I am the only one who knows and I am sick to my stomach over it :( She is trying to forgive him and forget about it..but how realistic is that?
