For all girls that are going on a cruise for their HM

Are you nervous about all the stories that happen on ships???? Im really not because when you think of all the people that cruises per day the statistics of anything happening are low. Its just something ive been thinking about.

I for sure will not go anywhere without FH on the ship now. We've been on a few cruises and Ill usually go sunbathe while he plays minigolf or basketball or something.. But not anymore!

ETA: We also bring walkie talkies so we can check in once in a while....

There is absoultely nothing to worry about! I have been on 8 cruises so far and it is amazing! Where are you all going on your cruises? We are doing souther Caribbean. CAN'T WAIT!

I'm going on a tiny ship - 75 people...it's more like a yacht really :) Going to the islands around Bora Bora and Moorea for 7 days of our 3 week honeymoon. It is going to be so amazing...I can't wait!!!

We're cruising the Mediterranean & Black Seas for 14 days. Not concerned about the cruise, only the two stops in Turkey.

You have to be an informed consumer. Just like hotels, resorts and restaurants different cruise ships have different standards in safety, health, sanitation... Read past reviews, ask a travel agent. There are things you can't control like weather but you can try the best to make a good decision.

I've thought about it, I don't think I would consider myself 'worried' but, if you think about it the chances of something happening are slim to none. sort of how it's safer to ride in an airplane than a car. But we drive our car to work everyday!

thats what we did on cruises as well. I always would sunbathe with othe gfs, wives of our dinnermates while he would play mini golf with the bfs, husbands, etc. but we brought walkie talkies with us esp. since the ship we went on(twice) was one of the voyager royal caribbean ships and theyre huge. plus the walkie talkies were great i'd beep him to pick me up some ice cream or a drink on his way back

I am doing a mediteranean cruise as well- stops in greece- islands and athens, italy and turkey- heard turkey is beautiful and I am excited to go... I have always felt comfortable on cruises I ahve been on, but I have to say I will be more cautious...I took a lot for granted and felt safe- and now I know I will think twice before I do certain things...

We're planning on doing a Mediterranean cruise for our honeymoon. I have to say that I've been a little concerned with all these reports about cruise ship safety. But honestly, you have to be careful no matter where you go on vacation -- whether it's a cruiseship or a resort.

Btw...I love the idea of the walkie talkies.

I'm not nervous - though watching Primetime last night was NOT a good idea!!!

My family has been on many cruises before and they've been fine...I can't wait to go!!!
