That's a decent article actually. I used to be a clown (children's parties) and my boss had a stripper company in addition to the clown stuff. My boss swore that her girls were clean and they'd be fired if they did 'favors' for the guys or slept with them. That is, if she found out, but whatever. When FH turned 21, I made him a great little party and I caught A LOT of heat from the gfs of his friends for it. One couple broke up! I called like 10-15 of his friends and reserved a hotel. I got 2 lesbian strippers for the guys. FH showed me all the pictures and described everything in gruesome detail! LOL I completely trust him, so I wasn't concerned. The party was pretty much like the stripper describes in her article. It's really not a big deal and I turned out like the 'cool' girlfriend for it. His friends were so impressed with me. Now you're probably thinking, 'Oh this girl is so naive, FH probably deleted all the bad pictures and showed her the G-Rated ones.' To this I reply: There was a birthday party for another one of the friends a couple months after and they ordered a stripper from the yellow pages. So Gross - She was old and kinda ugly but she got naked, danced and then gave head to one of the guys!! (He was single and hadn't had any action for quite some time, plus she didn't even finish. What's the point?) The point is, FH showed me those pictures and explained everything that happened that night. I was grossed out, but I was so happy that he told me.
Anyway, Bachelor parties are a way for the guys to act out Fantasies or see Fantasies in front of them. Same for Bachelorette. I'm all for them.

i have mixed feelings for bach parties.... i trust FH so much that i know he wont do anything shady....obv his friend will probably instigate trouble...but its really his last day to get crazy!!!
he has discussed a duo party...not sure if i want this! i want to have fun w/my friends. and i wnat him to get crazy too..
i'm going to cross this bridge when it gets closer...i still dont know what we're going to do

Ha Ha I agree, I was all in agreement with the begining of the second post. However, that last sentence threw me off. It is better to be confident and understanding when it comes to the bachelor party. I don't think that men have bachelor parties to act out fantasies but more to have the last party with the guys. Even though there will be other times with the guys, married life changes things. The family becomes the priority and quality guy time isnt as frequent. I don't see anything wrong with guys getting together for the last hoorahhh...Not to mention strip clubs and strippers are just a fun way for your FH's friends to publically embaress him. Now, if my man was visiting strip clubs regularly, there would be an issue.

I didn't read Becca's post as meaning physically act out fantasies... I think she meant watching a fantasy being acted out - kind of like watching a porn movie (which we all know is inevitable). In theory I'm fine with the bach party stripper thing. In reality... I guess I won't know until that time comes!! I trust he wouldn't physically do anything (for goodness sake, he's shy and reserved with ME), but it still for some reason might make me uneasy. Okay that made no sense lol!

You know to me its disrespectful for ALL Your friends & groomsmen to watch this - when they are at the alter they will NOT have respect for you or your marriage since they witness what happened at the bach party- all im going to say is I SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE that not all strippers are straight - alot of them do ANYTHING for money.

I don't think your naive at all Becca, to each his own, right? Some girls have issues with it and others don't. I personally don't have an issue for bach parties but I would have a problem if FH was in a strip club once a week.

I completely agree, I am fine with a stripper at a b-party: meaning I am fine with a girl who comes and removes her clothes and dances around for the guys. I am NOT ok with borderline prostitution. In my personal opinion, I think it is disgusting and disrespectful. I told FH that I do NOT care about strippers, but I said, if any strippers attempt to touch him when he does not want to be touched (which he does not), I will report the company for seual assault.
