Great job. Did you print them out your self at home? Where did you buy the kit from?

Re: For all those DIY'ing invites...

Thanks ladies!!

To answer your questions, I got a DIY invite from Wilton Print. It included the invite, response card and response envelope and white outer envelope.

This wasn't enough so I bought 2 packs of all purpose cards from Michaels to do my reception card and accomodations card. The Directions, well I couldn't find card stock that I like, so I improvised and bought Programs and used the cover only. I also bought outer color envelopes from Paper Presentation, since the white envelopes Wilton Provides were a bit too flimsy, JMO. But the white envelopes were smaller so I used them as my inner envelope.

Wilton and the all purpose cards came with Word templates, so you can customize the invite however you want. It was sooo easy. I have to say the part I spent the most time on was what wording I wanted to use.

I used my Canon inkjet printer. And once you have all your templates created, they will be done in no time.

If you have any additional questions, you an always FM me.

P.S. Envelope printing...

I created a template of my own on Word for the envelopes. using word I customized the paper to 6x9 which is the size of my outer envelope.

From there I created a text box so I could manage the way the wording would appear on the envelope and be able to adjust the size easily.

I am so happy someone else is doing DIY invites.

I am doing my invites as well, cannot wait!

It's funny because I am also adding rhinestones to my invites. After FH and I spent alot of time looking through invitation vendors, we thought ours could come out even better!

We are using Gartner Studios kit
