For all those teachers......

I need help! I have to do a 4th grade ELA demo lesson does anyone have any suggestions? I really want this job!!!!

They probably want you to incorporate some type of writing assignment into it - they are really big on that especially if it's in a public school

do something with graphic organizers. Those are BIG on the 4 th grade ELA. Probably a character map or a sequence chart would be good. The kids can owrk on it in pairs. (They love that crap in public school)

I teach in Westchester public schools and they are real big with anything NYS ELA test related. I would consider doing a 'game' with old ELA questions/topics. Is it a summer interview? FM me if you want to talk further!!!

If you are going to a NYC Public School definitely do something with a four square writing organizer or some kind or graphic organizer. Also do a mini lesson on one of the skills. If you need help FM me!
